Respect boundaries
If someone says no, steps away, changes the subject, stops responding or looks uncomfortable, give them space. Repeated unwanted attention is not welcome.
ChillMe is built for real connection: new friends, shared experiences, safe spaces and memorable nights. These guidelines explain how we keep the community welcoming, respectful and comfortable for everyone.
Friendly. Respectful. Curious. Clear about boundaries. Ready to include someone who came alone.
Nationality, gender, race, religion, language, disability, appearance, age, identity or background are never an excuse for disrespect.
Physical contact, photos, personal questions and romantic interest must respect the other person’s comfort and boundaries.
People may decline a conversation, invitation, photo, drink, contact exchange or follow-up. Accept it gracefully.
ChillMe hosts and venue staff may intervene when behaviour threatens safety, comfort or the experience of the group.
These apply at ChillMe events, partner venues, group chats, direct messages that originate from the community, and other ChillMe-managed spaces.
If someone says no, steps away, changes the subject, stops responding or looks uncomfortable, give them space. Repeated unwanted attention is not welcome.
Harassment, intimidation, stalking, sexual pressure, unwanted touching, threats, bullying or deliberately humiliating another person can lead to immediate removal.
Hate speech, slurs or exclusion based on protected or personal characteristics do not belong in ChillMe spaces.
Networking can happen naturally, but aggressive selling, unsolicited recruiting, MLM promotion, spam or repeatedly pitching attendees is not acceptable.
Do not share another member’s phone number, photos, private messages, workplace, home address or personal story without permission.
Members must follow venue policies, event-specific instructions and applicable UAE laws. Venue staff decisions concerning safety and access must be respected.
Relationships may naturally happen between adults, but attending an event never implies romantic interest. Treat every interaction as social unless both people clearly express otherwise.
Some ChillMe events may include photography or video for community and promotional content. When possible, we communicate this before or during the event.
If you do not want to be prominently photographed, tell the host or photographer. We will make reasonable efforts to respect that request.
Before posting a close-up image, private conversation or identifiable story about another attendee, ask them. Group atmosphere shots are different from using someone as the subject of your content.
Never use another attendee’s image in advertising or commercial promotion without their permission.
Explain important activity rules, accessibility considerations, age restrictions and venue requirements clearly.
Do not ignore obvious discomfort, harassment, unsafe behaviour or escalating conflict because “people are adults.”
Help solo attendees join naturally and avoid creating cliques that make newcomers feel unwelcome.
Registration details and member contact information must only be used for the event or purpose they were collected for.
Hosts and partners should clearly explain inclusions, exclusions, additional venue spending and material fees before purchase where applicable.
Safety concerns, threats, harassment or repeated guideline violations should be reported to ChillMe rather than handled informally forever.
You do not need to confront someone yourself before asking ChillMe for help. Share what happened, where it happened and any useful details you are comfortable providing.
If you feel unsafe at an event, move toward the host, venue staff or a trusted person.
For issues happening live, early intervention often prevents escalation.
Include the event, approximate time, people involved and screenshots or supporting information where relevant.
We may speak to relevant people, hosts or venue staff and decide on proportionate action.
ChillMe may take action based on the seriousness of the behaviour, context, previous reports and risk to the community. Not every case follows the same sequence.
A host may clarify a rule or ask behaviour to stop.
A formal warning may be issued for behaviour that needs clear correction.
A participant may be asked to leave an event or online community space.
Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or removal from future ChillMe activities.
ChillMe reserves the ability to act quickly where there is a credible concern involving violence, threats, stalking, sexual harassment, discrimination, fraud or other serious misconduct.
You can disagree with someone. You cannot attack, threaten, shame, expose or mobilize others against them.
If a conversation becomes heated, stop and move on. ChillMe groups are not a courtroom, political battleground or place to settle personal disputes publicly.
Yes. ChillMe is designed to make solo attendance comfortable. Hosts may use introductions, group activities and conversation prompts to help people connect naturally.
No. ChillMe is primarily a friendship and social community. Adults may naturally form relationships, but participation never implies romantic availability or consent.
Move away from the situation and tell the host or venue staff if the issue is happening live. You can also contact ChillMe after the event through the contact page.
Yes. ChillMe hosts or relevant venue staff may ask someone to leave when their behaviour threatens safety, repeatedly breaks event rules or significantly disrupts other attendees.
Natural professional conversations are fine, but unsolicited pitching, repetitive selling, spam or recruiting attendees without permission can disrupt the community experience. Formal brand or venue collaborations should use the Partners route.
Photography may be part of some events. Members should still respect requests not to be individually photographed and should ask permission before posting close-up or sensitive content involving another attendee.
These Community Guidelines support the ChillMe experience and should be read alongside any applicable event terms, privacy policy, venue rules and platform terms. They are not a substitute for emergency services or legal advice.
Good communities are not built by rules alone. They are built by thousands of small choices to include, listen, respect and look out for each other.
